dead trees and business cards

Enough of the scenic vistas already! I know! But since I drew these little things (4" x 4") from my reference photos of dead trees I had to post them. And now that I'm getting back in work mode it's time to order more business cards. I don't think I'll be able to do better than these though.

Caro: Me, too, and I do now! :)

Ellen: I want to get on it but I need to shake off this consumer-creator mindset first. I just need to be more like you.

Deb: Really sharp! You kill me! :)

Jafabrit: Wicked. That's another appropriate word.

Andrea, I'm waiting for the dismembered foot card from you.

I'm with Jafabrit. Dead trees have such a nice spatial complexity. Yours are beautiful against the rich backdrop of color.

Dead and dying trees have their place, too. What would woodpeckers do without them? Lovely work and yes, great business cards.

You don't 'arf come up wiv some good stuff!
As I began reading, I thought these trees were to feature on your new cards. But now I think I see something along the lines of "cutting edge" art...

San: Ooo -- I feel the pressure now. I have dead feet on my backburner with all the other detritus the creative part of my mind gathers. It's quite an overflowing backburner let me tell you!

Kiki: ANd I'm so into birds right now that that was just the right thing to say! :)

Dinah: I couldn't come up with a decent segue but wanted to do just one post. I failed.
