when rudy's rich all his words will be in clouds

I love this. Choose a selection of text that you want to make into 'word cloud art' and go here. I decided to choose a chunk of text based on Uath, the hawthorn tree (May 13 - June 9), that goes along with my latest drawing. Here's the artwork:

And here's the cloud (click image to see full size in Wordle):

More great stuff from Rudy:

skateboards + light
toy cars + paint

I'm pretty convinced that one day Rudy will be rich from all this. How rich? According to Rudy:

When I'm rich, this will be my apartment.

very cool video for a super amazing touch screen computer (which I
will have, when I'm rich)

Starry Night on Second Life (which will be my virtual home, when I'm rich)

Bar code art (which will be featured on everything I buy, when I'm rich)

Dinah: It's kind of addicting, isn't it?

Jana: Thanks. My favourite is the skyline bar code.

Cynthia: I wish it was me but Rudy gets all the credit.

Kiki: Thank you!

May you gain the riches to acquire that apartment. I love it.

BTW, a Lon Wood anecdote. Lon once told me that when he was a kid working at the Vancouver Sun he wss in charge of getting Len Norris's cartoons set for printing. Periodically he would add a little extra line just to make his own imprint. He was never found out.

How DO you find all this stuff??

I think that epic scavenger hunt apartment would cause me to have a nervous breakdown within an hour of moving in. I wanted to scream just looking at the website! (I hate those sorts of games - don't know why. They freak me out.)

Ian: That apartment's for Rudy, not me. You guys don't pay really close attention to the words, do you? You obviously only come for the pictures and that's OK, too.

Ellen: Oh! They posted some more! I just emailed the last two so they should all be there tomorrow I hope (and I know you read the words, too).

Alda: Oh no! Someone else who only reads the pictures! I give up. My next post is going to be entitled: NO> I DON'T FIND ALL THESE> RUDY IS A REAL PERSON> READ THE WORDS> :)

Funny. Your "word cloud" art resembles your "real" art. In a way. Mainly in color. But also in concept.

I will have to try this.

I agree with you on the bar code art. When I'm rich, I'll spend a lot. And the objects I buy will be laden with bar code art.
