wet
I haven't posted to Thursday Challenge in a coon's age, but it would be very un-Vancouver of me if I couldn't find something for 'wet.'
P.S. Krista pointed out to me that some people might find the term 'coon's age' offensive (i.e. not realizing it refers to raccoons). Here is her link on the etymology of the phrase: http://www.straightdope.com/mailbag/mcoonsage.html

Loving those pastel colors!
very pretty very wet! great colors!
Eeek, this expression "in a coons age" makes me uncomfortable... I tried to look it up to explain why, but this weas the best I could find, http://www.straightdope.com/mailbag/mcoonsage.html
Just wanted you to know, some people find it offensive.
Sorry, in my haste, I forgot to mention, that I really do like that picture. The pinks and oranges in it really jump out, making the wetness seem jovial, rather than a downer.
Wow -- I always thought it meant a raccoon's age or even a coonhound. I had no idea there were some politically incorrect connotations. Well, I'm not a big fan of political correctness for political correctness' sake, it was made in innocence (I kind of enjoyed excavating a long-forgotten phrase) and the article says it means raccoons, so I'm going to err on the side of the positive.
Certainly no washed-out watercolour.
Thanks Andrea.
Oh paint this Andrea!!!
a.
I think you need to volunteer to accept reader's photographs (of whatever they like) and turn them into art.
Reminds me of a picture I drew a donkeys ago...
Wet is good, but did it have to be rain... hehe? Just kidding!
Like the picture... so unlike where I live.
Nomad: I accept!
love the colours! and yes, this is Vancouver.........;)
Sigh - I can not wait to go back to Vancouver. Even with the rain it was such a wonderful place. I am so jeaulous of you!! Now if I could only get the owners of either Bin 941 or Bin 942 to bring one here. . .
This is a marvelous pic! The brightness, the color - I wish all rainy days were so beautiful! Ours tend toward blue-greys, with the emphasis on grey.
Andrea, I really like what you do with digital images. Do you sell these ever?
