the girls of summer


Look at these pretty girls. Being brown of thumb I love perennials and wildflowers. They surprise me year after year but pass so quickly.

I can't keep my so-called gardening hands out of 'the photoshop', though, so had to have a little fun with the poppy.

My lavender poppies are just starting to open up (the red ones are behind a ways...) But the foxglove and columbine are all over... I love the loooong springs we get here!

I often play in photoshop with my pics from the garden. I should post them also they look so cool.

Lucky poppy but what about the poor foxglove? No pretty fiddling with its petals for us to look at?
