This close up creates such cool circular shapes and nice reflections with the glazed pottery. It's such a neat compostion...the darks are in the middle section and the lighter colors framing them. It reminds me that I need to go and get some pretty pots for the plants I brought indoors this week and get some mums before it's too late!
Carla: Can you come a do my sad excuse for a garden, too? Chitty: It's a good thing I have a camera because I have no words right now thanks to someone who takes issue with my blog. BTW if you get a really nice handbag it's easy to take your camera everywhere... :) Kyknoord: I took this photo at a garden centre on the edge of a suburb where I was walking my dog, and that morning cup of coffee had done its work and I *really* needed to find some facilities so ended up here (though you're right in that a shrink may have been more useful...). Potty on!
I've always suspected that, when it comes to photography, artists make the very best photographers...and, the very best photographers are, indeed, artists. Therefore photography is an art. The eye that spotted this image and then sought to frame and capture the moment is the eye of an artist. A wonderful shot, Andrea. PS: I'm befuddled by the mysterious "someone" taking "issue with your blog". Send me an email? Between now and then one can always rely on this catch-all response: "Pfffffttttt!"
Like Mick. What do you mean by "taking issue with your blog..." Scuze my not to good English... Your blog is so nice!!!! I Can't believe that someone would post you bad comments... I repeat, your blog and your creations are wonderful...!
my mom has an obsession with poetry now. I cant complain in the least. It gets her out of the house and certainly calms her down. A much needed escape for her it seems.

You and the camera are a force to be reckoned with.
I wish I could take to taking pictures with my camera with the same enthusiasm.
I can hardly believe that nobody's made a "you've gone potty" comment yet.
