I managed to buy a spot on Etsy's next round of Showcase features (i.e. higher profile for a day) so over the next few days I plan to add these digital art prints, one at a time, to my shop. I'm curious to see if there's any market for these kinds of urban images so will consider it a test drive.
hey andrea, these are lovely! hmmm what about a calendar next year of these beautiful images? just a thought. always thinking... let me know how it goes! good luck.
Andrea, I think these are excellent images. I started browsing and found some interesting items. I need to go back. An aside: too bad, your great sense of humor is not for sale (as I was reading your profile :-))
36 hours later and I'm not getting a lot of traffic. Hmmm .... may have to re-think this. (And thanks for taking the time to look at my profile, Ces! I have a little trouble with the standard-issue "buy my stuff because I ROCK" type profile ... as you can see! :)
you are a woman of many talents, andrea, the least of which is your sweet charm and humor. as for these photos, i luuurrv them (to borrow from he--he is starting to influence me!).
and anyone SHOULD buy your stuff, as i happily did, because you do ROCK!
Andrea, those are BRILLIANT! I like the "parked cars" one myself...is that a Purdy’s store lurking in the back?? Man, I miss BC sooo much! Thanks for brightening my day! :):):)
It's interesting how these look like excellent "normal" photos until you click on each to see the magic you've wielded upon it. I love the row of smoking houses, and the street scene to the left of the houses and on the bottom left.
Me too...the row of houses: the exhaustion of getting through Winter is fabulous. I also love the 'Mean Streets' feel of the parked cars..oh and the garish beauty of the neon Theatre lights..and the tunnel of outdated hydro electric transportation pillars... ah who am I kidding the whole thing is cool...the combination creates a very telling mosaic of the artifice in which we dwell.
Wish could Andrea, miss it so much! Took a trip to the island last summer for a friends wedding and managed to hop on the ferry and take a trip to Van...oh the ocean, the mountains...

LOVE the smoking chimneys!
Hope you get some action.(In a nice manner of speaking!)
I hope you'll consider doing a follow-up post to let us know how it goes.
I second that. It's a neat idea - let us know how it is received.
I like the smoking chimneys too - I love the way the light is playing in it.
It will be interesting to know how it goes - good luck with this test drive!
I also like the smoking chimneys.
Smoking in the chimneys! (always a good place to hide)
