World Freehand Circle Drawing Champion

I don't know what makes me such a cynic but I didn't have to read this article to realise that these heroic games don't actually exist. In any case, there's no question that this guy's got a rare gift. It reminds me of the old chestnut, "I can't draw at all. I can't even draw a straight line!" Please, show me an artist who can!

If you did believe in the existence of the World Freehand Circle Drawing Championship, then may I assist you with the following?

I would have said you lean more towards skepticism than cynicism.

You crack me up (though I'm impressed with circle-guy. I hope he DOES start a circle-drawing-world-championship). :-)

You know .... somewhere there probably is/or will be a perfect circle contest. This beats the welly-wanging contest at a carnival up north; and the cow-pat-tossing contest I saw in Virginia.

Shoot, I followed Martha Stewarts advice and now I can't read my credit card numbers anymore, what with all that frozen water in the pool! Come spring, .....

You crack me up (and tx from the bottom of my heart for that, I needed a break).

Hi Andrea, I'm still here. Made it to 2007 at last! LOL!

This credit card checker is hilarious! But I wanted to comment on the circle guy. I had an algebra teacher in the 9th grade who could do that. You should have seen our eyes pop out the first time we saw her do it!

I often get people telling me that they "can't draw a straight line." My response to them is always "Why would you want to?"

That said.. I'm off to paint. Or read my way through more of your archives. Yah that's the ticket... coffee and Andrea Pratt in the morning... You can't beat that. At least not until the guilt sets in and you drag yourself off to the studio....

Hi Helen. It's fun to be reminded of these earlier posts. I read your comments in my inbox and rack my brain to connect it to a post, so I have to go back and see what you're talking about! Is that a sign of age d'you think...? :)
