pattern

I use pattern in my artwork a lot. As a matter of fact, just choosing from all the patterns in my paintings and drawings to make this digital mosaic was too hard, so I chose ones with the same approximate shape: raindrops, deer hoofprints and stylized seashells. More over at Illustration Friday.

You've got one that looks like Air New Zealand's tail badge!(bottom, 2nd left)

Wonderful display of colorful patterns. I really like the tear drop in the different colors. Very nice.

love the rich red hooves (hoofs?), reminds me of a quilt. It would make a very cool quilt at a cottage :)

Hi, I like what you say about not being able to choose for one of the designs. I think the same happened to "soft architect" Petra Blaisse when she had to choose a design for the carpet on the 3rd floor of the Seattle Central Public Library. I like to think of what she opted for as "the leaves from the designer's notebook" a perfect patchwork of botanical patterns. As is the case in her work, your combination looks great.
