Oh, my goodness, gracious! I was not expecting that! It's not very much like your other works. I like it and it conveys 'hot day.' Did an encounter with a real critter inspire it?
Kiki: It's not my bestest work but it's what I did yesterday so here it is! The encounter was with this: http://www.flickr.com/photos/didrooglie/2076613116/
Oh that's fun! I'm rather fond of geckos, though I wasn't too impressed with the one on my bathroom wall eating a cockroach in the middle of the night in a hotel room in Kenya!
Hope you are significantly cooler now. Amazing that the mid-80s here in the PNW are giddily 'cool'. :-)
You continue to inspire me to figure out Photoshop. And you are sweet re: the hero thing (I'm always a bit self-conscious posting my dubious horse anatomy for your perusal).

Looks like Adam's ornament, yes? Certainly not 'quite' like the ones around here :-)
I love it! It looks like a stained glass piece. Beautiful, Andrea!
very cool, no pun intended ;)
Hey, what a fun piece! If that lizard was outside today he's be cooked in seconds (and I bet would taste like chicken!)
Very hot indeed! Hope it cools off for ya'll...

That boey blog entry made me laugh out loud. :-)
Dinah: Good eye! See my comment to Kikipotamus.
Ponita: It is like stained glass, isn't it? You have a good eye, too!
Tracey: And even cool colours...
Ellen: Om nom nom.
Cynthia: It has -- thanks. FINALLY.
Heather: As soemone who likes geckos but hates cockroaches, I think it's a decent trade-off! :)
Tara: me, too. I read several before I chose to link to that one!
