school

It's been awhile since I've participated in Thursday Challenge, but since I took this photo on the first day at #2 son's school (September 5th) I thought I'd post it for this week's theme.

I think it would be nice to be a kid again for a while, don't you?

On a different note, have you tried to access kyknoord's blog today? It's completely changed, looks like a newly created blog and is full of kanji characters. Has he been hijacked or something?

I really like how you've created an almost abstract painting from childrens play structure. But I can't tell, is this an altered photo or a painting of the photo? Either way it's an interesting view of something usually not so interesting.

Andrea:

I have the same question as others: is this your painting of a photo or a photo you played with?

It's cool.

And to you and Reluctant Nomad: Kyknoord has moved his blog, He's at http://kyknoord.wordpress.com/

Kyknoord sure is a popular topic. How can i get me some of that? :)

As for the photo I have a program that came with my first digital camera (a Kodak Easy Share model) that has a setting for 'cartoon'. It's similar to 'poster edges' in Photoshop.
