seed
Sometimes Illustration Friday posts a theme that is so appropriate it's laughable. How do I choose? I have reworked this week's theme so many times over the past couple of years that I have dozens of images to choose from (and no desire to do another after having done two this week already). So I compromised.
note - these are all cropped from larger works

How perfect!! The images are lovely.
Oh! There are some here I haven't seen. What fun.
Beautiful illustrations here and I know what you mean aboout appropriate theme. I have loads but have decided to do a new one as the subject is so great. Mind you I've got to do it yet!
I thoroughly enjoyed viewing SILENT SPRING SPORES.
My attention is uncontrollably drawn down to the bulb penetrating the virgin soil..nice.
What glourius colour and your cropped patchwork is very successful.
Another illustration Friday that showed up in my mailbox that had me thinking of you first and foremost. I like the alternating montage of color paintings with your metallic drawings. Looks great!
love these all together like that...wonderful work and so glad you posted a bunch of these...looks wonderful!
I've enjoyed your work for a long time. Nice to see so much in one post! Eye candy!
Wow what a truly Andrean theme!
Love the way you've gathered your seeds and sown them.
Don't you love when that happens? All are gorgeous works Andrea!
perfect combination!
Sometimes, when I open up your blog, I just get this overwhelming feeling that I want to LIVE in your paintings. This is one of those times.
Always lovely.
I like them all but especially the one in the lower left. :-)
All wonderful images Andrea; the upper left corner one is my favourite!
What a lovely collection of images!
I think the word is 'excelled' rather than compromised Andrea, a wonderful compilation.
I thought of you when I saw the theme this week. cool
Yay! Another AP advent calendar-esque montage. Love it.
wow - these are cool!
wonderful! I just sink in and dream stories....
I love the theme of seeds in spring, and even other seasons as they rest quietly conspiring to dazzle us!
I've always enjoyed your many different inclusions of the underground and seeds. Sometimes we forget the earth doesn't start where our feet meet the soil. Nice compilation.
You compromise brilliantly, my dear. You are my artistic hero and you should be a millionaire from your work.
Brilliant grafting of so many seedlings, Andrea. Love the interplay of vivid color with the more earth-toned, the geometric with the organic. Lush.
What a treat to see so many of them together in a glorious collage! Your seeds are inspiring!
i remember many of these. they touch my heart. the growing of things. rebirth.
They're all great...yeah, a perfect theme for you!
Happy Mothers Day my friend! Hope your day was wonderful. :)
