more february
I'm still trying to avoid distraction but these art-making videos are worth falling off the wagon for: Maggot Art and The Daily Monster. It seems to me that maggots and monsters are perfect subject matter for artists in February.
And to reinforce the fact that it's still February, in all its gloomy glory, I give you this:

Nice :> So I'm guessing that you haven't received a good dose of chocolate yet today. Don't despair; there's still time! xox
I cannot help but grin. But hey my husband absolutely loved his piece I bought from you. And I got my dose of chocolates this morning.
I just now posted the piece framed. Not real clear but it works.
Thanks just had to let you know you made some people here happy campers.
Andrea ....... :-)))))))))))))))
How'bout "Happy Fifteenth!"?
Hug instead of hearts,
Merisi
Well, your falling off the wagon gave us the maggot art, so, thankyou. That sticks it to Jackson Pollock!
Time for me to get back on the buckboard...
Looks like you've 'ad a 'arrowing time, luv.
Happy Fiftheenth!
Only 12+1 days left.
Blogger keeps me from loading new posts (again *sigh*), so here a little preview, from a poem by the U.S. Poet Laureate Billy Collins, "Morning" (from "Picnic, Lightning"):
Why do we bother with the rest of the day, ...
This is the best—
throwing off the light covers,
feet on the cold floor,
and buzzing around the house on espresso ....
....
Have a great day!

Amazing creativity in those two vids, Andrea, referred to us by another amazingly creative person.
My own take on V Day was posting a pic of Cupid flying splat! into the side of a building.
Like minds, I'd say.
Smile. The February Flotsam is almost Finished Floating away.
I have to join with catnapping's comment heheheheheheheheheheheheheheheheheheheheheheehehehehehehehehehehehhehehehehehehehehehehe
Oh my. Soon there will be a "Save the Maggots" society or "Stop Maggot Abuse". We used maggots for wound debribment. We packed the maggots under the sterile dressing and they would eat the wound drainage and other dead tissues. They are very useful creatures.
I've been looking at your Valentine's card for a week now and each time it cheers me up.
This is positively priceless!!!! And beautifully done, too!!! I'm sending my friends to look!!!
Andrea - sorry to wake you from your hibernation but I've tagged you - and its a fun one! :-)
Ouch - poor innocent little cupid - took one for the team I guess
i just have to say hello, andrea!
Verry Niice..How Much?
No more CSI for you! Maggot Art eewww but surprisingly cool..I have already notified PETA so that insensitive animal hater will soon be behind bars!
Daily Monster was really neat and I loved his stylish 'drawrings' very Tim Burton.
Cheer up Andrea, Spring is right around the corner..for you anyway..this must have been your worstestest winter ever eh?
Good Morning, Andrea!
I have good news for you:
There's a perfect way to start loving February: Book a trip to Venice! It's a dream. No, it changes your life. I only have my little camera, you have your art. So much inspiration there, part of me is going to stay there forever.
The only problem is, coming back an it's still February. That really is the pits. :-(((( (see the big tear?) Sitting in the taxi last night, I kept asking myself: "What am I doing back here in Vienna?". Oh, rats!
