play

Excuse my narcissism while I play with this idea for Illustration Friday. This mosaic happened because I finally decided to indulge in one of my vanity press t-shirts and wanted to (shamelessly) show it off, so had #2 son snap a bunch of photos of me playing this morning for me to play with in Photoshop. He also got this great shot of Zappa's face that I had to play with.

Now back to your regular programming.

#2 did a marvelous job, let us review:
...A tree hugger in Vancouver..hmmm?

I 'get' the modern dance poses because my daughters have 'made' me 'get'it for the last 10 years...

and the OMG-I-think-the-Shellfish-was-Off-last-night sequence was also interesting. That is exactly the colour that I get...weird eh....

personally the playful I Love You This Much and Peek-A-Boo are my faves.

Zappa is adorable.

Homo E: Modern dance! Why ... yes. Right. *That's* what I was doing... :) OMG-I-think-the-Shellfish-was-Off-last-night ~ hilarious!

Val: Those who know me well call it hopelessly immature.

Ginger: Aren't we just? :)

You're a silly girl, and I love it! I can see that #2 son has a good eye for composition...it must be genetic, right? I love the close up of Zappa...the color and texture of the fur is wonderful:>

This is live art in real life, creativity at its most beautiful, and just brightens the heart.

What a gorgeous canine Zappa is! And kudos to Son No. 2.

Yep, narcissists are us, unite!
I am going to wait for your interpretation of Lady Godiva, in self-portrait form, of course. No? Chicken! You don’t know how to play!!!

Yes, you may delete my witty remarks anytime you like… Summer made us all very nice and sedate. Just wait till February, though. We all will be having cabin fever and out of our wits with blog commenting, ha!

P.S: love the dog
