at the market
I was at Granville Island Public Market today and couldn't resist taking a few photos of the spring delights, so I'm posting them here as a kind of 'a picture's worth a thousand words' type apology for having nothing much to say lately.

I absolutely love what you've said here, Andrea. I'm in the same kind of state lately with my blog...not much to say and yet still so full of life.
Its that fruitful look isn't it? I like the way you've exaggerated the outlines too.
Love the garlic. Makes me want to go vampire hunting.
Lovely pics. I love hydrangeas, especially the deep blue variety (the colour is based on acidity/alkalinity) - in South Africa, they're sometimes called Christmas flowers as that's when they bloom.
All of my favorite things in one blog ! Flowers, art and fresh produce ! Such beauty ! Really nice picture of the Daffodils by the way !
Brian: :o
Caroline: And I love graphic gadgets.
Kyknoord: When my son was small and afraid of vampires, we sent him to bed with garlic!
Nomad: Hydrangeas at Christmas. It seems like such a novelty here!
Sheri: You forgot chocolate! (Oh yeah -- previous post...)
I'm not familiuar with that symbol in your reply to my comment...is that an open-mouthed kiss?!
Beautiful! Isn't this time of year the best?!?
Brian! I'm shocked! That was me being open-mouthed and speechless -- now I'm even *more* :o than I was before! I'm also :)
These are positively luscious!
