self portrait tuesday

I've seen examples of this meme on other blogs, and since reflection was the theme, I thought I'd give it a shot, so to speak. I took the photo on Monday (yesterday) but it's Self Portrait Tuesday -- is that a cheat?

Any picture that I have seen of you, today's post or on your art website, there is this glow about you. You must have a really powerful aura...either that or you're pregnant. :)

Oh my...I was going to say that you look like a neon blue goddess! The colors here are very striking...is that a window behind you, or did you add a background?

Brian: Ah -- the warm glow of Photoshop. Where would I be without it? (Looking like death warmed over no doubt.) As for being pregnant: wash your mouth out with soap! :)

Carla: I'm sitting on the bed, aiming at the mirrored closet door. That's the garden out the window. What's weird is that whatever manipulation I did in Photoshop to create this (wish I could remember) left only the "human" colours intact, aside from the tops of my head, hand and leg.

Love the colours. I'm guessing your folks did lots of acid in the '60s.

I think it's always interesting to see what the blogger looks like as opposed to their avatar...you ain't no fish bones that's for sure! (I mean that in the nicest way possible)

Nah, it's not cheating, but it is colouring outside the lines a little bit.
Like the pic... has a 60's feel too it. Either that or someone spiked my water.

Princesse: It's the dead of winter. You'll have to wait 'til summer to *really* see more of me.

Kyknoord, Chitty and Calvin: I would welcome a return to the '60s. Even the drugs were more innocent then.

Detlef: You're next!

Caro & Val: Thanks, as always.

Nomad: I had to just pinch myself to make sure. But... nice?
Exciting, mysterious, alluring, quirky, delicious .... these are just suggestions ... feel free to continue.

"Nice" to SEE you :-) You look very "nice" to quote Nomad, but you aren't wearing the famous hat or cherished gloves. Nevertheless, thanks for appearing!

Andrea, with the glow on and the (is that your) leg in half lotus you look like a willowy blond 1/2 buddha! Who says art isn't spiritual? Ha, ha! I wish I could own some of the images you come up with on your camera. I guess that is the digital in your hand, yes? I cannot believe the range of digitals out there now. Last night at a party a friend showed me one that looked more like a credit card. Glad to have found your new URL! Your TO buddy, Teri
