Things aren't moving along as fast as I'd hoped but we're getting there! Today I gessoed the back of the canvas as the clear gesso is allowing too much light to pass through the finer/lighter weave of linen. I've only painted on linen once and I'm liking it a lot.

Curious ... how do you like the clear gesso? I love it and use it all the time.
Linen huh? I've always been tempted to give it a try as I hear it's much finer than canvas. Clear gesso? I've never heard of it..........need to get to art supply store..
The clear gesso was already on the linen (pre-stretched small canvas) though I do like what I've been working with so far.
i am so in love with this! this cat really tickles my fancy :)
i received word that Tar has been missing for over a week :( the coyotes have been out in full force.. Tar came to love me when rat died and he is my muse now ;)
