anatomy lesson

This is awesomely amazing.

Painting discovery: to make a stunning blue, mix dioxazine violet with pthalo blue.
I'm not actually an axe murderer; this is a very old drawing I did of a dismantled mannequin, not a disembowelled person. I added it to show you how not to draw from life, especially after you've seen the above life drawing lesson.

Val and Brock: I also add a little iridescent white to it to make it a little brighter and more luminous. I have had to look at the video at least 3 times now myself.

Sheri: Thanks. I find it hard to post my older/lamer work, but it seemed like an appropriate accompaniment to this video clip.

Ever since I saw a skeleton mannequin I've wanted one - but the one I saw was £700... and who would want a worse one...

Congratulations on selling the picture below - I was wondering about offering to buy it myself but I've been tied up with other things and its now too late - wah!
