thanksgiving

Today I am thankful for fun things you can do with Flickr, like dumpr...

...and for cats who ride bareback, just for fun...

...and for unusual-looking fungi that appear in the back garden on autumn days like today. Each year brings something different.

Happy Thanksgiving.

Thanks, guys.

Arthog: Be my guest.

Swampgrrl and Cherrypie: PLEASE tell me you don't really believe those artworks are that big! It's just a trick, c/o dumpr (see post). (That proves it -- now I KNOW people only read the pictures!!!)

HA! A trick! With some Andrea originals, including the one at the top! Could I buy it for $500?

What? You say I already bought it...for $25 on Etsy? Oh, yeah. Still haven't got it framed yet.

It really IS that big...at least through my eyes. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family.

Happy north-of-the-border Thanksgiving. We have been strangely fungi-less this year (I usually have quite a few strange and unusual mushrooms spring up in the fall, but this year, nary a one as of yet).

The dumpr function is hilarious. I'm almost afraid to try that with a piece of mine - that sort of scale almost frightens me!

What a feast for the eyes and mind this post is! Such a variety and I love Dumpr--that's too cool. Also really love the black and white painting. It looks great big or small! Is it really Thanksgiving there? What historical event is Canadian thanksgiving based on?

Happy Thanksgiving to you. I always thought that it was only the Americans that celebrated it - in November. What is the Canadian thanksgiving all about?
