I'm a poetry blog, too!

A lass with accounts in the red
Blogged 'til her children were dead
Then muffled and slurred
Came a sound rarely heard
"Get a life!" said the voice in her head

  1. Great looking kids, even though they are little Blog orphans.

  2. They are great looking kids, even lying blog-dead on the floor. Blogging is addictive :-) Soon we will need 12-step programs for bloggers and support groups for their children!

  5. Teens!!!! They always do that don't they. Should see Gene and her black-and-white "pic suite" of herself killing her mom and I... Funny and frightening at the same time. LOL. And "get a life" is what I'm telling myself too, those days... *sigh*. My friends are actually trying the 12-steps on me...without results...

  11. Finally -- some people who appreciate the poem! Though I always got good marks in English, poetry always somehow eluded me. It doesn't show, does it? :)

  15. Andrea, this is great! You don’t have to worry about sacrificing you firstborn after all – you already there! Your muse should be pleased, seeing such bounty on the altar of creativity!!! Love the poem; don’t listen to that voice, by the way. Lily.
